Focusing on Whole-Child Development
Horizon Child Development has been providing quality daycare to families in Fairfax County for the over 25 years. Our first daycare center opened in Reston, VA in 1999 and proudly continues to serve this community today. Seeing the need for daycare in the
Fairfax area, we designed, built and opened our second school at 4600 Holly Avenue in 2004. And in January 2024,
we opened our third and newest daycare center located at 14001 Braddock Road in Centreville, VA.
Horizon Child Development, School for Early Learning understands that education isn't just about learning letters and numbers - it's about nurturing the whole child. Our programs are deigned to promote social and emotional well-being, physical development and intellectual curiosity. Children attending our daycare centers enjoy activities that foster independence, confidence and joy in learning.
At Horizon Child Development we recognize that choosing the right daycare is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. Many of our children begin attending Horizon Child Development at six weeks of age and graduate five years later, happy,
prepared and excited to start kindergarten. Our commitment is to ensure that every family feels confident and secure
knowing their child is loved and cared for when enrolled in one of our daycare centers.
All of our daycare centers provide the same standard of care and education, making it easy to find a center
close to home or work with three convenient locations - Centreville, Fairfax or Reston.

Providing Programs for Every Stage
Horizon Child Development, School for Early Learning believes wholeheartedly in the success of every child.
Our daycare centers serve children from six weeks to twelve years old, with programs designed to support each stage of early development. From the gentle care of our Infant and Toddler program to the structured learning of Preschool and Junior Kindergarten, we offer age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity and social growth.
Our Before and After School care provides a smooth transition between home and school.
