Children six weeks to twelve years old will grow and learn in a comfortable and stimulating atmosphere at our daycare center in Fairfax. Experienced teachers are dedicated to providing

Exciting daycare programs are offered both full-time and part-time for infants, toddlers and preschoolers as well as before and after-school programs and summer camp for children ages five to twelve.
Age-appropriate toys, books, games and hands on activities are provide in each daycare classroom. Children will enjoy our large outdoor play areas in a beautiful natural setting. Tuition includes our nutritious meal program - breakfast, hot lunch, afternoon snack and a to go snack at the end of the day.

A primary care system is used in our daycare infant classroom allowing your child to have the same caregiver each day. This familiarity helps to nurture and develop a sense of trust that is essential for healthy growth and development.
Our daycare center toddler classroom engages children with early language development using an interactive reading system that introduces the whole language approach. The "Your Baby Can Read" system uses combinations of sight and sound to learn naturally, with fun-filled activities
in a setting of smiles and laughter.
We provide a wide variety of activities that encourage creativity and imagination. Our play areas are designed for your child to explore and discover in a safe, stimulating,
fun and secure environment.

Our daycare two-year old classroom provides a more advanced and structed learning environment with lesson plans designed to engage children in language arts, discovery science, early math skills, art, music, dance
and fine and gross motor skills.
The exciting "Theme of the Month" program and daily activities such as Things I Can Do, My Neighborhood, The Seasons of the Year, and Circle Time encourage language development and curiosity. Vocabulary, ABC's, colors, numbers, shapes, and days of the week are strengthened through nursery rhymes and songs and
the introduction of basic Spanish words.
Children build community skills by learning to share and take turns, using their words to solve problems, and developing self-calming skills. A Daily Child Report is provided, summarizing your child’s day and activities.

Our daycare learning centers are designed to be inviting and challenging. Children are provided with age-appropriate lesson plans to build a foundation of knowledge in emotional, social, and cognitive skills, including math, language arts, science, history, geography, practical life, art and music.
Community skills continue to developed with group interactions, sharing and taking turns, learning and understanding self-calming skills and how to
solve problems using our words.
Each day children are provided opportunities to select free choice activities and enjoy outdoor play time in our
daycare center's fun and secure play areas.

Our Junior Kindergarten program welcomes
children ages four and five years old.
This exciting year-round daycare program will provide your child with a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment
to learn through discovery and play while preparing emotionally, socially and academically for the
transition to kindergarten.
The FunShine Express® curriculum provides exciting lesson plans that build a foundation of knowledge in emotional, social, and cognitive skills. Children learn through inspiring educational activities including art, science, reading readiness, math concepts, social studies, geography, language arts, and practical life skills.
Children are provided opportunities each day to

A weekly take home project is provided that is designed for you and your child to discuss and enjoy together.
BEFore AND AFTER SCHOOL
As an additional service to our families, our daycare center offers a Before and After School program for children attending elementary school.
Included in this program:
- Transportation to and from area schools
- After school snack
- Designated homework time
- Outdoor playground time
- Organized fun activities
Full-Day daycare is also available for school age students during
public school teacher workdays as well as some school holidays
and closings due to inclement weather.
